A tattoo is the only thing you buy that you keep forever. But finding the right tattoo is often harder than it should be. The industry is full of fragmented platforms, opaque pricing, and assistants built to push a sale rather than guide a decision.
Hardy is an AI tattoo assistant built by Inkjin, specifically designed for the tattoo world. Hardy is not a design generator, it's not a booking widget, and it's not a browse experience. Tell Hardy your tattoo idea and it will help you figure out what you actually want, before you start looking for the right artist.
It is named for the word itself: durable, resilient, built to last—just like a good tattoo. Hardy is built to help you get it right. We believe the worst outcome in tattooing isn't a slow decision—it's a fast regret. Hardy acts as your sounding board to help you figure out exactly what you want before you ever step into a studio.
You can ask Hardy about ideas, explore styles, find artists close to you, browse their portfolios and flash designs, get honest answers about pain and pricing, and organize your thoughts into a clear summary you can share with an artist. It can pull real flash designs from the Inkjin catalog and point you to artists who specialize in what you're looking for.
Hardy slows you down in the right places, making sure you're confident in your choice, and makes everything else effortless.
Behind the mark
When we designed Hardy's mark, we started with the most famous AI eye in history: HAL 9000's unblinking red lens from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Then we reversed every decision. Black and gray instead of red because the best tattoos are black and gray, the style that ages best, cuts deepest, and lasts. A warm glowing core instead of a cold stare. An eye that blinks. And a ring that doesn't fully close because a sealed circle is a wall, and Hardy was never meant to be a wall. It was meant to be an opening.
